Once upon a time, there was a magical place where it never rained and it was always dry. All the people who were there worked digging holes. They only got one gallon of water for a week. It was a very horrible life.

Was this just out of the blue or did he have to write a story for one of his classes? I'm really enjoying your entries lately. I know these sorts of scenarios will be in our near future. It's nice to get a sneak peek.
He's just a freak. I asked him if he wanted to contribute to the blog and that was his contribution.
We had talked about having him start posting and he was all into it and then, well, you saw how quickly he expended his creative energies.
